My research interests focus on "source to sink" problems related to the production, transport and delivery of sediment from the terrestrial landscape to continental margins. I incorporate geochronology, geochemistry and mineralogy with quantitative geomorphic analysis methods that involve field study, digital topography and GIS datasets. From these data and analytical tools, I develop conceptual and physically based models that reveal linkages between surface processes, climate, and tectonics.
