Ellery Gorge - channel & slackwater deposits |
||
| Ellery Creek is the main tributary of the Finke River and joins it in the middle of the Krichauff Range. This image shows the channel of the Ellery. The lines of trees in the channel bed indicate either channel edges or linear bars. Each tributary mouth contains a large slackwater deposit, as yet, uninvestigated. The bed of the gorge is about 150 m wide. |
