Highlights from the Dryland Rivers session at the
7th International Conference on Fluvial Sedimentology
Objectives | Talks | Posters

Objectives

The 7ICFS was held in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA, in August 2001. A one-day session was devoted to the theme "Dryland Rivers: Process and Product". This produced much interesting material, and considerable discussion. All those present felt the session was most useful. One outcome was agreement for there to be a special conference devoted to this theme, in Aberdeen, UK, in August 2002.

This page summarizes the oral presentations, and provides access to the full abstracts for all the papers in the dryland rivers session. In some cases, the abstracts are supplemented by the addition of some pictures used during the talk (and which are not in the official abstracts booklet!). Contact the author(s) for further information - you can use the hyperlink on the full abstract page.

The aim of this page is to give a feel for the type of work currently being undertaken, and to show who is active in which sub-discipline.
