EUCC-UK
in collaboration with EUCC in Leiden is currently
applying the work on ICZM indicators of Pickaver
et al. to two locations in the UK. Teake Nugter
from the Van
Hall Institute in the Netherlands is currently
an intern with David R. Green at the University
of Aberdeen in Scotland working with East
Grampian Coastal Partnership (EGCP) and North
Cornwall District Council in North Cornwall
in the Southwest to test out the ICZM indicators
with coastal stakeholders. A short presentation
on the results will be given at the EGCP AGM at
the end of June (see below).
EUCC
is currently involved in a number of EU funded
projects, CoPraNet
and COREPOINT.

R. Green will be attending the CoastGIS
2006 event in Australia in July 2006.
In
the coming year EUCC-UK will be hosting a number
of local seminars and workshops around the UK. Details
of these events will be posted soon.
EUCC-UK
is hoping to release a number of Coast ad Sea Guides
for areas in the UK. More details on these will
be posted soon.
