Past exam papers/Mock exam papers

Template showing the rough exam format for 2007-8

The course CS4026, taught for the first time in 2006-7, evolved from CS4018, which however covered no logic programming/Prolog but contained extra material on comparative programming languages. Prolog was, however, taught in CS3014 before 2005-6.

The exam paper for CS4026 will have a new format, and information about this will be distributed later. Example exam questions can, however, be found in a number of places, as detailed below.

Questions for lambda calculus/Haskell can be found in papers for CS4018 from 2004-5 onwards (before that, a different functional programming language, Miranda, was used).

Questions for Prolog can be found in papers for CS3014 before 2005-6. This course did not, however, cover the background theory of logic programming.

Some previous exam papers (and some answers) are listed below. See also the University's exam database.
