Summary Course organiser: Frank Guerin In this course, students undertake a project under the supervision of teaching staff in the department. The project will require creative, analytical and practical skills. A significant component of the project is the written and oral presentation of the work done. A list of projects is made available around the middle of the first term and students then indicate their preferred projects and/or supervisors. Projects will be allocated before the end of the first term, so students will be able to think about their projects over the Christmas vacation. The projects formally start at the beginning of the second term. It might be useful to obtain a copy of the recommended course text book to read before starting your project.
