CS3520 Assessment

 Assessment

There will be two in-course assessments due, plus an exam.

The details of the assessments will appear in due course.

The first assessment is due at Noon on Saturday 10 March, (end of week 6) and is worth 10% of the mark for the course.

The second assessment is due at Noon on Friday 11 May (end of week 12) and is worth 15% of the mark for the course.

The exam will be worth 75% of the mark for the course.

Exam

This is a sample exam for the course. This sample provides similar type questions as the exam itself.

NOTE: The course has changed and 'security' is no longer covered in the course, so assume that instead of the 'security question' you'll have another question similar to the other two. You should also realise that all of the exercises done in the practical sessions are new, and will be in the exam somewhere.

Assignment 1 by end week 6 (10 March, noon)

The completed assessment which should be submitted in MyAberdeen should include:
a) business model canvas completed so that you have something for each section with enough detail to complete
b) an associated story of the business and its website and
c) how your business will use customer data to improve the business over time based on
d) the details of the different personas you generated as possible customers for the empathy maps


Assignment 2 by end week 12 (11 May, noon)

The completed assessment should be submitted as PDF files via MyAberdeen and include:

a) a revised business idea as storyboard or some other variation and details of how this has developed from end of week 6 based on feedback
b) the story of the business canvas and model
c) your designs and details of how the canvas translated into a web design
d) a presentation covering the above topics which lasts about 10 minutes
