Extra sessions final week

The course aims to provide you with a founding in what mobile application development is, and what issues are imporant to its understanding. This course focuses only on applications running on the handset. If you want to know more about building mobile friendly web sites, then you need to look at either Programming and Security for Cloud Computing (MSc), or Enterprise Computing (postgrad/undergrad).

In the past this course focused on Android and Java ME. This is no longer the case. The choice of mobile device you code for is up to you.

My experience is with Android and Java ME, but if you want to take advantage of that iPhone, or Windows mobile you have, then that's fine by me.

There are two lectures and a practical each week, and the course runs for twelve weeks in the first half-session of the academic year.
