Notification of the AGM

In accordance with the terms and of the Constitution, notice is hereby given of an Annual General Meeting of Deeside Gliding Club (Aberdeenshire) Ltd, to take place on Friday 6th May 2005 in the Clubhouse at 7.00pm

Friday night flying starting 6th May

After work on a Friday night, why not head out to the club, have a flight, some food, a beer or 2, you could even stay the night ready for flying the next day.

Summer Flying

Ian Donnelly and Terry Cawthorne have organized two weeks of flying from 14th May until 3rd June 2005.
There will be an Instructor and Tug pilot available every day during this period.
All visitors or Club members are welcome to turn up either for instruction or solo flying with your own glider or to fly the club gliders. The ASH25 will also be on site during this time.
Please e-mail the club if you intend to turn up, or for more information.

First day of summer?

Saturday saw the first day this year where all the club fleet was airborne, with almost all private glider enjoying the sunny weather.

Towing facilities are now available 7 days

We welcome a new club member, Gavin Webb, who will give you a tow on week days. Therefore Deeside Gliding Club can once again offering lauching 7 days a week.
Instruction remains, by arrangement only during week days

500km in January

Roy Wilson (A39) and Jack Stephen (G-RM) both flew 500's on Sunday, Roy's average speed was 137.9 kph, with Jack completing the task at an average of 109.2 kph
