The club changed its name early in the 2001-2002 season from "Falling Skies" to "Positive Mojo". This change was inspired by the 2000-2001 all-conquering inter-mural team of the same name:

Since the name change, Positive Mojo more than doubled its membership and had a regular turnout of 30+ players at practices. The 2001/2002 season's tournaments saw great success including a strong showing at the Edinburgh beginner's tournament, top 4 positioning in the S.U.U.L. and highest ever finish at Glasgow student national qualifier's, coming 2nd, therefore qualifying for the student nationals for the first time ever.
2002/2003 was a year of continued growth and strengthening of the club, who again won CUBE. The club also won Outdoor Not-The-Nationals - the start of our major break onto the British University scene.
2003/2004 saw quite possibly the best ever season for Positive Mojo - a low finish at Edinburgh Beginners was a false start. 2nd at Scottish Indoors, along with Plate for the B team and Spirit for the girls (the only womens team present). 2nd and 3rd at Magic Circle after Christmas was followed by 1st at British University Indoors in Sheffield in February as well as taking Spirit. The Women's team finished 3rd at their first ever British Open Indoor Tournament - they were the highest place University team. The Scottish Outdoors saw Mojo 1 breeze the top spot and the 2nds qualified for Not-The-Nationals. A good showing at Mixed Tour 1 in Bristol, and then the big one: British Universities Outdoor Champions at St Andrews, beating Leeds in a thrilling final staging the best ever come-back, having been 9-3 down at the half to win 14-13. Mojo also won Spirit, making them University Indoor and Outdoor double spirit winners! At N-T-N, Mojo 2 won Plate.
2004/2005 saw another good showing at both Stirling Tune Up and Edinburgh Beginners, followed by a 3rd place finish at Scottish University Indoors. The 1st team then went on to regain their British University Indoor Crown, beating Southampton in the final. They also won Spirit for the second year in a row. Not to be outdone by the open team, the womens team went to Nottingham and won the British University Womens Indoor title. Mojo finished 2nd at Scottish Outdoor Regionals and placed 10th at British Nationals, again winning the Spirit prize for the 4th major British University tournament in a row. Mojo finished off the season with a 2nd place finish at CUBE and by winning the first ever British University Mixed Outdoor Nationals.
2005/2006 heralded the clubs best ever performance at Edinburgh Beginners, finishing 4th out of 32 teams. Mojo finished 6th at Scottish University Indoors and then 11th at British University Indoors Division 2 (winning Spirit). The womens team finished 2nd at the first ever Scottish University Womens Indoors and then finished 3rd at British University Womens Indoors. The club finished 9th (winning Plate) at University Mixed Indoor Nationals, and then 6th at British University Mixed Outdoor Nationals. There was no CUBE in 2006.
2006/2007 again resulted in a 4th place finish at Edinburgh Beginners. At Scottish University Indoors, Mojo narrowly missed out on a spot at British Nationals, by finishing 4th. They did however go on to make the final of Division 2 UK Indoor Nationals, losing only to Cardiff. At the first ever Scottish University Mixed Indoor Regionals, Mojo beat fierce rivals Edinburgh in the final to claim their first ever Scottish University Indoor qualifying event. At the British University Mixed Indoor Nationals, Scottish teams took home the top 4 spots, with Edinburgh and Glasgow claiming 1st and 2nd, and Edinburgh 2nds and Positive Mojo finishing 3rd and 4th. The women continued the dominant form of the club by placing 2nd at Scottish University Womens Indoors and the 8th at Womens Indoor Nationals. The club had a disappointing outdoor season, finishing 9th at Scottish Outdoors, and then 2nd at CUBE.
2007/2008 saw a return to British University Indoor Nationals for the club, after finishing 3rd at Scottish University Indoors. Mojo finished 10th at Nationals, losing to Leeds in the Plate final. The women again performed well, by finishing 3rd at Scottish University Womens Indoors, and then 6th at British Womens Indoor Nationals. The mixed team again made the final for the 2nd year in a row, losing out to Edinburgh in the reverse of the previous years scoreline (10-9). The club did not attend Mixed Nationals due to exams. Outdoor Regionals was affected by the wind and the club finished 9th, and at CUBE the highest finish was 3rd.
2008/2009 saw an introduction of new Kukri kits. Aberdeen Sports Union brokered a deal with the major kit supplier for all the sports clubs at the University to have matching kit. While it was a shame to move away from the old yellow shirts, the club now had matching shirt, shorts and socks. Making their first appearance in the new kit, Mojo finished 5th at Scottish University Indoors and due to drop outs, qualified for Nationals where they finished 15th. The women again made the final of Scottish University Womens Indoors, losing to Edinburgh in sudden death (9-8). At Womens Nationals, Aberdeen and Edinburgh again made it to the final for a rematch of the Scottish final. Edinburgh won 10-7, but Aberdeen's Hannah Sunderland took home MVP. At Scottish University Mixed Indoors, Mojo again finished 2nd behind Edinburgh. At Mixed Indoor Nationals in Manchester, Mojo missed out on the final to Cardiff by a single point, but beat Edinburgh 6-5 in sudden death to claim 3rd spot, the club's highest ever position at this event.
