PAINTBALLING DEAL!!

Great paintballing deal on Groupon today if people are up for it!!!  For pretty much £1.50 each 15 people can get paintballing, 100 paintballs and a hot lunch each!!!

It doesn't need to be used until June and the other thing to note is that additional paintballs are £10 per 50 (quite expensive).  Also theres 3 different locations, closest one to us is Edzell (at the North Esk).

Is it a YAE or a NAE?  What do you think?

At £10 for 50 paint balls that'd probably cost more than just going to normal paintball, it's normally £5 for 100, and you'll still use 500 or so.

It says Soup or Pasta.

Although the reloads of paintballs are quite expensive MOST people would probably need 2 reloads of 50 paintballs (from previous experience), therefore making it £21.50 + fuel.  Still a good day out.

Having worked at a paintball site for 3 years the price of paint here is extortionate! The normal price you would expect to pay would be around £8 for 100 paint. The average paint that people go through is around 100 per game (That is if you are light on the trigger)  and a normal site would run 5 games a morning (This is assuming the games last 15 minutes a half) Adds up to ALOT of money when they charge that much for paint.

Which is probably why they need a Groupon voucher to get customers...

I could handle some paintball, despite the prices here.

This is the same as what we did sometime last year is it not?

I don't recall the prices being as much as that. Paintballing is expensive however you look at it. You guys should just pool some money and buy a crate of paintballs in bulk from t'interweb and take a whole load with you.

Work out a lot cheaper!

unfortunately,  99% of sites will not let you use your own paint

That on isn't the one we did last year, the one available today however is:

http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/aberdeen/battle-grounds-paintball/3263330

A minibus load of us went to this place last summer, and had a great time. The refills here are £6 for 100, and if I remember correctly the most bought by anyone was 2 (i.e. £18 for the 3 or 4 hours that we were there). We had a bit of trouble finding the place (ended up in some random persons driveway instead) but got there in the end.
Bless all of you beautiful people.
