The facility to add images is password protected. Currently, it is available only to the staff of the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Aberdeen who should use their normal DISS userid and password.
Images should be prepared as .jpegs using your favourite imaging software. The only restriction is that the maximum dimension (height or width) of an image must not exceed 1280 pixels and the maximum file size is 1 megabyte.
We recommend that users prepare their images in advance and store them in a convenient place such as on a CD, on their H drive or on the hard disk of their PC.
Uploading the images is very straightforward. Simply fill in the form with as many data as possible (you must as a minimum click on the Kingdom or the Habitat button) and then specify the location of the image file, either by browsing or by specifying the address. Finally, click on the Add Image button at the bottom of the page.
