The project was initiated by Drs Alan Pike and Martyn Gorman, Zoologists at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.

Funding and resources were provided by the University of Aberdeen.

Design and programming were carried out by Phil Marston and Jay Pot of the Learning Technology Unit which supports the use of technology in learning at the University of Aberdeen.
