One of the most stunning and ancient venues available at the University of Aberdeen is the baronial Elphinstone Hall, designed and built in 1930.
The flexibility of Elphinstone Hall lends itself well to a wide selection of large events from dinner dances, to business breakfasts, industry exhibitions and presentations. Located in the heart of the Campus, the Hall has a variety of reception and breakout rooms available adjacent and within close proximity.
The Hall benefits from a high volume of natural light, which accentuates the hammer-beam roof and oak-panelled walls. This combined with some of the oldest oil canvas paintings in Scotland, creates a truly unique backdrop. In the warmer months, delegates are free to mingle under the cloisters and admire the view of King’s Chapel.
