University Chapel Choir

The King's College Chapel Choir numbers around 30 singers who are the present day inheritors of the Vicars Choral of the original foundation by Bishop Elphinstone. The Choir meets every Sunday at 9.45 am in KCG8 for a rehearsal before singing at the University Service at 11 am in the Chapel. There is also a rehearsal each Tuesday between 6 pm and 7.45 pm (also in KCG8).

In addition to the University Service, the Choir sings at Graduations and performs in other venues. The Choir also broadcasts and makes recordings from time to time.

The repertoire ranges from Medieval Plainchant to newly commissioned works.
