Nightlife
At night Aberdeen really lights up with a vibrant nightlife second to none. It boasts a huge variety of venues ranging from trendy clubs to old-world pubs full of atmosphere and everything in between.
There is an eclectic mix of music for gig-goers, with a vibrant music scene that regularly attracts major tours and gigs by the biggest names around, combined with venues and dance floors which promote the home-grown talent of local acts and DJs. For committed clubbers there is a whole host of dance floors in and around the city centre, serving up sounds of hip hop, dance, chart classics, indie, rock, latin beats, soul, cheesy pop and lots more.
For those that prefer a quiet drink and good conversation, there is a multitude of different settings for you to relax in, from hip wine bars and jazz clubs to cosy café bars and student hang-outs.
