Welcome to The Big Read.
The Big Read programme has, at its core, the shared reading of a common text by staff and students throughout the University. A range of related activities will run throughout the first term of the academic year.
Nominations for The Big Read 2013-14 are now being invited and we would welcome your suggestions. Any ideas are welcome, but we would ask that the text be by a living author; one of the highlights of this year’s event was Matthew Green’s visit to the campus.
The final selection of the text will be made by a panel of staff and student representatives.
