Booking Help

To request a room booking simply create an event in a compatible calendar and invite the room using the rooms Message ID (e.g. xrs999@abdn.ac.uk). You can get the Message ID and other room information by clicking on the room in the rooms menu. Most people will prefer this method as it allows both parties to automatically track the event.

If you do not have a compatible calendar you can either make a web booking request or contact a room delegate directly, contact details and a web link are included with the room information. Cancellation of web bookings must be made by emailing c.skinner@abdn.ac.uk or arlene.ray@abdn.ac.uk

Checking availability
All users can check availability form the Calendar link in the room information or for multiple rooms directly in the calendar (select multiple rooms by holding Ctrl). The calendar is limited to one year of events and is updated every 30 minutes. Users with University of Aberdeen e-mails can also use Outlook's Scheduling Assistant.

Tested: NHS.net, Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, Outlook Web Access, Google Calendars, Windows Live Calendar beta
Not tested but should be compatibility: Apple iCal, Novell Evolution, Lotus Calendaring
Not compatible: Yahoo calendars, Tungle
