Articulation and Student Exchanges

We are delighted to have partnered with a number of prestigious universities in China. Students from the universities listed below are welcome to continue their studies with us. 1. Articulation agreements in the Business School

Undergraduate degree programmes in Finance, Accountancy and Management (2+2)

1.1 Shanghai University - SILC (Sydney Institute of Language and Commerce), Shanghai

1.2 South China Normal University (SCNU), Guangzhou (www.scnu.edu.cn)

Study for two years at SILC or SCNU and apply for entry into year 3 (in some cases year 2) at the University of Aberdeen. You will be graduating with a MA (Single Honours) or MA (Joint Honours) degree, the equivalent of a Bachelor degree.

Combined undergraduate and postgraduate programme

Students from this partnership study the 4th year on an undergraduate degree programme in the Business School and, upon successful completion, progress directly onto the MSc Finance and Real Estate. Students will obtain a designated undergraduate degree and a Master degree.

1.4 Shandong Normal University (SDNU), Jinan (www.sdnu.edu.cn) - MSc Applied Economics (1+1+1)

Students from SDNU study the first year of the Master degree at their home university, continue for year two at the University of Aberdeen and return to their home university for the final year.

The advantage of this cooperation is that you are going to graduate with two Master degrees, one from Aberdeen and one from your home university. This will make you highly attractive for future employers as you will have deepened your academic knowledge, improved your English language and enhanced your intercultural and communication skills.

After 1,5 years of study at Zhejiang University, you apply for entry into year 2 (second semester ie January start), and study for 2,5 years at the University of Aberdeen.

5. Student exchanges and summer schools

We are pleased to welcome exchange students from Wuhan University to the University of Aberdeen across all our undergraduate degree programmes who wish to study with us for one semester or a full academic year. There are no tuition fees.

There are no tuition fees for students from Aberdeen and a discount on accommodation costs has been negotiated. Students have to pay for the discounted accommodation and their own subsistence but help will be provided in finding accommodation.

We also welcome students from Wuhan University who wish to spend a semester at the University of Aberdeen as an exchange student.
