'Learning Together, Embracing Change' Conference

Scottish Teachers for a New Era hosted an exciting and celebratory conference to mark an important milestone in the project.

The 'Learning Together, Embracing Change' conference highlighted students' good practice and the development of the STNE BEd Programme through student-led workshops and displays.  The event featured interesting and pertinent keynote addresses from Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, and Sir Tom Hunter, philanthropist and businessman and co-funder of Scottish Teachers for a New Era.

The project was delighted to welcome a keynote contribution from pupils and teachers from Hanover Street School, Aberdeen, who, in conjunction with BEd 4 student, Lisa Wilson, and BEd Programme Director, Lynne Shiach, shared their experiences of STNE.
