Psalm: 118:97
Iconography: The crowned psalmist points to the caption: [You have made me] wise above my enemies. Craning his head remarkably he also points to an older bearded man resting on a stick behind him. I have understood more than the elders: because I have sought your commandments. I have restrained my feet from every evil way. The psalmist's feet are constrained by the rim of the initial.
Art: This initial must have been at least sketched before the scribe began since the black letters follow the curve and tail of the Q.
