Research Interests

Thomas Rist (BA, PhD) conducts research on Shakespeare and Renaissance Drama, specialising in the interaction of these with the religio-political transformations of the era.  He was an early practitioner in the 'turn to religion' in early modern literary studies and has published substantially on the topic.  Dr Rist welcomes inquiries from potential research students in the field of Renaissance drama.
