Using an FTP client such as Filezilla or WinSCP, log into the account where the web pages are to appear using the credentials for that account. The server is ftp.abdn.ac.uk and the port is 21
Create a folder called public_html
Upload your files into the public_html folder
You now need to publish your files to ensure they display. If your pages are to appear under the homepages.abdn.ac.uk domain, click on the following link:
http://homepages.abdn.ac.uk/local/publish/
If your pages are to appear under the www.abdn.ac.uk domain and are for corporate use, click on the following link:
http://www.abdn.ac.uk/local/publish/
