IT Training


IT training opportunities for staff and research postgraduate students are administered and coordinated by the Training and Documentation (TaD) Team.

We offer a range of IT courses and workshops, covering Microsoft Office 2010 and 2007 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access), Student Records, Adobe Photoshop Elements, general PC use, and more. Courses are usually held in Taylor A1, our private training room on the Old Aberdeen campus, or in a computing classroom in the Medical Library at Foresterhill.

We also run a highly successful European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) programme with a 95% pass rate to date.
