Grampian Credit Union

The University has entered into partnership with Grampian Credit Union, which is an independent savings and loans co-operative, owned by its members. The Credit Union aims to help people living and working in Aberdeen and the Grampian area by giving them direct access to affordable and ethical financial services. Regular savings and loan payments to the Credit Union can be made through deductions taken directly from your salary.

Our partnership with Grampian Credit Union means that all members of University staff now have the opportunity to join and access the range of financial services and products which it offers.

These include:

• Adult savings accounts
• Children’s savings accounts (current interest rate 5%)
• Christmas savings accounts
• Loans for members (with affordable interest rates)
• Insurance Products (provided through the CUNA Mutual Group)
