Remit
- To make nominations to the Court regarding the appointment of Vice-Principals and of co-opted members of Court.
- To recommend to the Court the membership of Court Committees and of representatives on Joint Court/Senate Committees.
Composition
The Nominating Committee is a committee of the Court, composed of Chancellor’s Assessor (Convener), Principal, Senior Vice-Principal, a senior Senate Assessor and a senior General Council Assessor (to be agreed by the Assessors themselves).
NB
- With regard to (a), members of the Court and of the Business Committee of the General Council are invited to suggest names of co-opted members of Court, while members of Court and of the Senate are invited to suggest names of Vice-Principals;
- With regard to (b), members of the Court are invited to volunteer themselves or to suggest others for membership of Court Committees and for appointment as representatives on Joint Court/Senate Committees.
