Seminar with U.S. Diplomat Elizabeth Dibble

Next Friday the University of Aberdeen has been granted a rare opportunity to hear from one of America's foremost experts on the Middle East and North Africa.

Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy to the United Kingdom Elizabeth Dibble will provide an overview of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East before opening the floor for questions and comments.

Prior to arriving in London in 2013, Minister Dibble was Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, the second most senior U.S. diplomat managing U.S. relations with the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. She has also served at the U.S. embassies in Damascus, Tunis, and Islamabad.

Refreshments will be offered after the talk.
