Find out more about the ethical requirements making sure clinical research is safe.

Clinical research is vital to ongoing advances in medical care. Come along and find out exactly what clinical research is and what ethical requirements govern this to ensure it is carried out safely and effectively.

Our CafeMED Specials series takes place once a month at the Suttie Centre on Aberdeen's Foresterhill campus. Sessions take place October through to December. They are free to attend. No booking is required and places are allocated on the first-come basis. A clinician and a researcher talk about a medical subject and all talks are pitched at a very accessible level, whether a healthcare student of the future, someone impacted by the topic or you just think the talk sounds interesting everyone is welcome to attend. We leave ample time for audience questions and discussion. The main CaféMED series will run in the Suttie Centre Café from January to May.
