S6 Enhancement
S6 Enhancement events support the Advanced Higher curriculum and in several cases are core to some schools offering these course to their students. The support provided for schools through events like the Chemistry Prescribed Practical Activity Days (PPA’s) allow students to complete course work on campus, assisted by student demonstrators and university academic staff, utilising equipment not available in most secondary schools. As a result, demand has grown significantly and the S6 Enhancement project now welcomes around 2,000 student-equivalents annually. Other subjects covered by S6 Enhancement include Biology, Physics, English and History.
