The Liddel Library

Duncan Liddel left his library to Marischal College, Aberdeen on his death in 1613. Marischal College was a new institution founded in 1593 and Liddel's bequest, which included monies for bursaries and academic posts, was vital to the university's continuing growth

Past Projects

Past projects include enhancing the descriptions in the George Washington Wilson Photographic Archive and cataloguing papers of the Aberdeen Medico-Chirurgical Society which was undertaken as a result of a ‘Research Resources in Medical History’ award granted by the Wellcome Trust
