What happens after the residence abroad?The Honours programme offers intensive language study coupled with a range of content courses that are directly related to the current research activities of the staff within the Department. Students can choose to specialise in either Spanish or Latin American Studies and the emphasis at this level is on flexibility, whereby students can select from a variety of courses to suit their individual interests. Courses are varied not only in terms of their content but also as far as assessment methods are concerned. Assessment is designed to test a variety of skills, from the more traditional extended essay, to oral presentation skills, and team project work.
