Andrew Ritchie, millionaire founder of the Brompton Bicycle Company is set to fly from London to Aberdeen to speak to students from the University of Aberdeen and the Robert Gordon University at the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen about his experiences in creating his fold up Bicycle Empire. After deciding he could build a better fold up bicycle than others on the market, Andrew struggled for many years to persuade investors (including his family) to help him continue with his project to create the worlds best fold up bike- something he succeeded in doing proved by his multi-million pound companies success. Open to all students and staff at both universities, this free Scottish Institute of Enterprise (SIE) event is to be held on Thursday 26th February from 5.30pm in the Lemon Tree, with free refreshments provided for all.
