Stirling and Aberdeen Universities have active connection with the salmon aquaculture industry representative body in Scotland, Scottish Quality Salmon (SQS). Marine Harvest is an industrial partner in the project, providing salmon parr and smolts. These maintained on specialised dietary formulations for the Stirling parnter, they also provid salmon o Aberdeen. The company is the largest producer of Scottish Atlantic salmon and a subsidiary of Nutreco Aquaculture (The Netherlands), Europe's leading aquaculture producer and feed company.

Qiagen: This Industrial Partner works closely with the Roslin Institute and is a preferred supplier to ARK-Genomics. The company's principal contribution to the project will be, design and application of oligonucleotides for arraying purposes. QIAGEN will design and synthesise oligonucleotides for secondary arraying based on the sequences of candidate genes identified on the primary cDNA array.
