Item Description Skinner described this tune as a 'Patriotic Pastoral'. He intended it to be followed by the reel Dumbarton Castle. The two tunes then connect as 'revenge' for 'the death of Lady Wallace'. Note the descriptions: 'pipe drones', 'marching', soldiers'.
