The Word Festival is the University's Writers Festival and since 2009 has had an exciting science strand. The 2011 event is now over and we had excellent events with BBC Science Correspondent David Shukman, environmentalist and ecologist John Lister-Kaye, psychologist Bruce Hood, mathematician Ian Stewart, the Naked Scientist Chris Smith and physicist and author Michael Brooks.
