Our public engagement with science strategy is built on partnership. By working with others we can deliver a better programme and take advantage of more diverse areas of expertise.
Partners we have close links with inlude the British Science Association (previously the BA), currently chaired by Dr Ken Skeldon. We also work very closely with the staff of TechFest (based at the Rowett Institute), Satrosphere Science Centre (the first interactive science centre in Scotland), and the Aberdeen Maritime Museum and various local media (via our press office).
We are currently working with over twenty partners on various events. These include special activities celebrating national themes as well as for National Science and Engineering Week, the Word Festival, and TechFest in September. In addition to these we have various special programmes occuring throughout the year.
