The RLRG hosted a very successful, interdisciplinary Rural Law conference addressing ‘Scottish Land Reform’ in September 2009. Many of the responses we received to that event from solicitors, estate managers, academics and officers of the Scottish Government encouraged us to host the Rural Law conference on an annual or biannual basis.

We are holding a workshop in September 2010 to consult with key individuals and organisations on the scope and content of our next Rural Law conference.

The 2011 Rural Law conference will address ‘Sustainable Rural Development’. Further details and further events which the RLRG is involved in will be posted here in due course.
