Volunteers sought for study into how a berry extract could combat diabetes

We are looking to recruit 28 volunteers aged between 40 and 70 who live in Aberdeen City or Shire for a 6 week study with 5 visits to the Rowett.

Volunteers must be either

• Overweight Men, Overweight post-menopausal Women or Type-2 diabetics who control their diabetes through diet alone.
• The study will involve taking a concentrated blaeberry capsule and a control capsule three times a week (equating to approx 1 ½ cups of blaeberries).
