On November 11th every year a horse-backed St. Martin leads a group of children with their self-made lanterns to King's Chapel, where the sharing of the Saint's coat with a beggar is re-enacted. Everybody is welcome to join this atmospheric evening for songs and stories! More than 100 people and their children from all over Aberdeen & Shire have celebrated St. Martin's day with The Rocking Horse Nursery last year and enjoyed the mulled wine and gingerbread in the Rocking Horse grounds.
