Dr Martin Mitchell BA, PhD AHRB Fellow
University of Aberdeen
Martin Mitchell gained a PhD from the University of Strathclyde. His first book was The Irish in the West of Scotland 1797-1848. He is currently undertaking a revisionist examination of Irish migration to Scotland and the impact it had on both countries.
