CPD for Teachers
The course will be entirely practically based and focus on the fundamental aspects of 'MECHANICS', especially those relevant to Higher and Advanced Higher Physics. Those who have previously attended the 'Wave Phenomena' and 'Electrical Phenomena' courses, will know just how useful the three year rolling programmes of Physics are.
COURSE AIMS
This professional development event aims to provide an opportunity of:
- Pursue ideas for student projects and demonstrations
- Undertake experiments outwith the school environment
- Increase confidence in delivering this area of the syllabus in school
- Consolidate and extend teachers' knowledge and expertise
- Network with other teachers and University Staff
- Share ideas and concerns regarding CfE.
