Agriculture   Ethel M Cruickshank Trust Prize   2 prizes awarded annually (a) to the best student graduating with the degree of LLB (Ordinary) with Distinction (b) the best student completing requirements for the degree of LLB with first class Honours. A student cannot win both.       206  
Agriculture   George Skinner Prize in Agriculture   The prize is awarded annually to the most distinguished student qualifying at the close of the Summer term for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with First or Second Class Honours in any of the subjects in which Honours courses are offered, if recommended for the award by the Head of the School/Discipline of Agriculture. In awarding the prize, consideration will be given to the whole of the systematic and practical work of candidates. If two or more students are considered to be of equal merit, the prize shall be divided equally between them. Agriculture   Sheila & Robert Stokes Postgraduate Prize   The prize is awarded annually, at the discretion of the Strathcona-Fordyce Professor of Agriculture, as advised by two appropriate members of the Discipline of Agriculture who are experienced in research and the supervision of postgraudate students, to the student, graduating in the summer or autumm with the degree of PhD after studies on crops or a related subject, who has shown the most distinction in his/her studies, especially with respect to an accomplished publication record, and who has made a contribution to the life and well-being of the Discipline of Agriculture as a whole. If a number of persons are deemed suitable in the same graduating year then the prize may be split equally between them. If any year there is no suitable candidate in the prize shall be carried forward.   £50     772
