A person wishing to be a candidate is requested to contact the University Secretary not later than the 1 st October of each session and submit a copy of the book or books they wish to be considered. Only books in a certain field will be considered; the order of these fields is: (1) critical or imaginative work in the field of literature,(2) Social Sciences, History and Philosophy, (3) Natural Sciences including Medicine, (4) Physical Sciences, including Mathematics.
