CM5025 - Practical Exercise in Instrumental Analytical Methods

Pre-requisite(s): None.

Co-requisite(s): CM5024 Professional Skills in Analytical Chemistry; CM5023 Advanced Analytical and Bioanalytical Methodologies.

The course will comprise 9 experiments with modern instrumentations including atomic absorption spectrometry, molecular mass spectrometry, inductively-coupled plasma chromatography, atomic flouresence spectrometry, hyphenated techniques. Courses will contain practical lab classes.

Average 5 hours per week as laboratory class.

Continuous assessment from individual lab reports (80%) and oral examinations (20%).
