SCANDINAVIAN LANGUAGE 3

Pre-requisite(s): Normally SN 1001 and SN 1501 or permission of Head of School.

Written and spoken language.
Introduction to very basic cultural phenomena.
Reading passages.
Writing exercises.
Translation exercises.
Role play.
Dialogue.
Readings and discussions about Scandinavian culture.

3 one-hour language classes per week; 1 oral tutorial per week.

1st Attempt: Course work: 4 in-class exercises equally weighted (60%); 1 two-hour Examination (40% = Oral 10%, written 30%).

Resit: 1 two-hour written examination (100%).
