Fieldtrip
While full details of this year's fieldtrip are yet to be finalised, it promises to be a wide ranging trip taking in some of excellent examples of north-east Scotlands glacial geomorphology and sedimentology. In addition we will be visiting some of the finest examples of late Neolithic/early Bronze age stone circles outside of southern England.
We will then be rounding of the trip with a tour of the Glen Garioch whisky distillery (complete with a wee dram) before returning to Aberdeen for the evening.
