Accommodation
Conference delegates will be housed in university accommodation at South House Hillhead Halls. The flats at South House offer shared self-catered accommodation with 5-7 people sharing two bathrooms and a kitchen.
Location
The Hillhead complex is a student village on the south bank of the River Don close to Seaton Park and is a short 10 minute walk from the conference venue.
Rooms
Delegates will be staying in a private single study bedrrom that is equipped with a single bed, a desk and chair, shelf space and a wash basin. South House unfortunately does not offer an ensuite option and bathrooms will therefore be shared between 5-7 people. Towels and bedding will be provided.
Kitchen & Catering
South House is self catered accommodation and breakfast and evening meals will therefore not be provided. You will have full access to kitchen facilities which come equipped with a microwave, cooker, fridge freezer and a kettle. Pots, pans, crockery and cutlery are also provided. A grocery store is present at the village and other supermarkets are within walking distance.
Availability
Unfortunately we are only able to provide accommodation at Hillhead for the three nights of the conference from Tuesday 28th until Thursday 30th August. It will therefore not be possible for anyone to stay at Hillhead beyond this time. Should you wish to remain after the conference on the night of Friday 31st then Aberdeen Youth Hostel is a good option.
Rooms will cost £18.00/night with a shared bathroom.
