Independent Review of Clostridium difficile Associated Disease
The Department of Public Health is an integral part of the School of Medicine, within the College of Life Sciences and Medicine, at the University of Aberdeen. The department is divided into five main research groups:
- Public Health Group
- Epidemiology Group
- Evaluation Group
- Health Technology Assessment Group
- Medical Statistics Team
Each group has their own research agenda but, in combination, the programme of research forms part of the Institute of Applied Health Sciences research strategy.
The department runs and contributes to several of the University's undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes - including:
- MSc Health Services and Public Health Research; and
- MSc International Health and Management.
In addition, the department runs a number of short courses - including:
for University and NHS personnel; and
- Intensive Course in Applied Epidemiology for external delegates.
