Undergraduate Open Day 2015

Undergraduate Open Day 2015
-

This is a past event

This year's Undergraduate Open Day takes place on Tuesday 1 September 2015.

The event is the largest of its kind that we host and we welcome around 7,000 visitors to our campus each year. The day is the perfect opportunity to talk to our staff and students, find out more about your interested area of study, listen to presentations, tour the campus and facilities, and soak up the atmosphere.

It will be an open day with a difference. There will be a comprehensive programme of:

  • Presentations
  • Departmental activities
  • Exhibitions
  • Tours of campus, the Sir Duncan Rice Library and our sports facilities
  • A chance to get a real taste for university life with our overnight option

Our team of experienced Student Ambassadors will make your visit a memorable one and look after you on the day. All of our Ambassadors are students at the University of Aberdeen and they will guide you around campus, answer all your questions and tell you about the university.

You'll experience live music throughout the day and there will be a range of interactive sessions for you to try out, plus plenty more for you to see and do.

The day is primarily aimed at those interested in coming to study at the University in September 2016, although late applicants for 2015 entry and those considering 2017 entry are also very welcome to attend. You can come on your own, or as part of a school party. Parents, teachers and other guidance staff are also invited to join us.
