Standard Entry Requirements
- Some degrees may have additional subject-specific requirements in addition to those listed here. Always check the degree in our online prospectus for details before applying.
- A Foundation Apprenticeship is equivalent to one Higher at grade A. It cannot replace any required subjects.
- We do not double count Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject, however a B at Advanced Higher is considered the equivalent of A at higher.

- Entrance requirements for some degree programmes is reduced for students from Widening Access Backgrounds.
- The accepted widening access criteria can be found on our Widening Access Criteria webpage.
- Entry to MSci and MEng programmes is not discounted but students entering the BSc and BEng may be offered a transfer dependant on good performance in their degree.
